Before we can start your website we’ll need:

• Your logo

• Examples of your current brand in use

• Any photos you have (or I'll provide stock)

• Content for each page

• Logins and links to domain name providers, social media accounts, MailChimp, etc.

• You will need to pay your 50% deposit on booking.

• You will need to be available during development for virtual feedback and approval on my 2 check-ins.

• To work with a website professional for your website project. I’ll be your website guide, coach and designer for the time we work on your site together. I’ve been doing web design, marketing, and agency work for 20 years. I’m full of ideas.

• Your Squarespace template will be selected or purchased for you. Design and customization of that template to suit your logo and existing brand materials. I style your website to look like you.

• Up to 5 web pages, this usually includes a Home Page, an About Page, A Product or Services Page, A testimonials or FAQ Page and a Contact Page.

• Contact Form, Integration of your Email Newsletter Sign-up and Social Media Links.

• A mobile friendly website.

• A Search Engine Optimized site.

• Setup of a user account for you to access your site upon completion.

• Online Training for you to make updates yourself.

Squarespace Hosting Fees.
Most of our clients need a Personal Package for about $250 CAD/ year. A Personal Plan will work for the website described above. Click to see current pricing.

We are Squarespace Circle Members, when we send you your completed site, you will sign up for Squarespace with 20% off your first year.

Domain name. This is usually included in your first year with Squarespace, domain names can also be purchased at namecheap.com or godaddy.com. If purchased from another vendor, we will point your domain at your site when the site is complete.

If all the preparation is done, a 5-page Sprint Website can take as little as 2 weeks. If you have additional pages, requests or are unable to get back to me sooner, expect them to be done in about a month depending on our current work queue.

The information you provide us over the phone, in your intake call and the existing marketing materials you upload to your Dropbox will inform the look of your site. The Sprint Websites style is clean, modern, professional & timeless. You can check out our portfolio here.

If you don't have a logo, I will create a text-only logo for you for free. With our vast experience in design even without provided marketing materials I can still come up with a look that will suit your new business. But having a logo and brand coming into the project indeed is helpful if it's in your budget. Ask about our graphic design small business package if you would like a full logo design for your project.

As for writing, my intake form has some hints and tricks to help you to write your own content. You can also provide us with bullet form content, and I can hire a copywriter to put it together for you for an extra cost. The content will need to be in its final form before we can start the Sprint Websites build. My COMPREHENSIVE package includes a writer.

Yes, for sure. I include some training videos and we will be available for a phone call or email or two until you feel comfortable as well.
