I’m a bit of an old soul at heart
I enjoy my wood burning fireplace in the winter and my older model camperized van for camping in the summer. I’m a big fan of timeless and modern design in my personal life and in my work. A potential client asked me the other day if I keep up with the latest trends. My immediate reply was yes - I sure do and I won’t be using any of them for your website. Well not entirely, but I design with your target audience in mind. And if you are home renovation company, no I will not be using Y2K retro design to attract stay-at-home Moms who will be calling you!
With over 20 years of experience making websites, doing graphic design and marketing, you can be sure that my skills will match your needs and help your site shine above the rest. I first learned to hand-code websites in 1999! And I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alberta.
In the first half of my career, I worked for agencies, marketing companies, the University of Alberta, and was the marketing manager for the Edmonton Petroleum Club. I gained a lot of experience from my various roles while still freelancing along the way.
Now I work from my home office in Sherwood Park, Alberta and occasionally my favourite local coffee shops. Working from home allows me to squeeze in a few extra hours with my elementary school-aged son.

Launching Websites in Record Time
Sprint Websites was born as a solution for clients who needed to launch a website quickly without the lengthy timelines of traditional agencies. Clients didn’t always need a full branding package, often just a website. I chose the name Sprint because as a creative, when I get into deep flow, I work fast—getting your website ready in weeks, not months.
Over the years, I have been able to streamline my process to create faster timelines. Instead of the gruelling weeks of back and forth, presenting wireframes, designs and revising content, with a few less steps, I aim to get your website done in as quick as 2 weeks depending on my schedule.
With my Sprint Websites process, I lean into you trusting my design style ( by checking out my work in advance), and knowing that I have the technical skills to pull the pieces together.
My process continues to evolve. Originally Sprint Websites was Wordpress shop, and now I exclusively build websites in Squarespace. Squarespace is easier for my customers. No platform and plugin updates or security woes. You can easily add commerce and member areas, and it is easy for them to make updates on their own once their website is up.
For me, Squarespace gives me more freedom in the design process, allowing me to create a beautiful design without a lot of code to make my ideas work.
